Game shooting is an incredibly exciting sport to photograph and we aim (no pun intended) to unobtrusively capture the action and concentration throughout the day of a shoot. Using high quality equipment means we can stay well behind the line and not risk distracting anyone while still getting a fantastic range of photographs covering all participants to make those crisp autumn and winter days really come to life. From the initial drawing of pegs, walking up to the drive and the shoot itself, our reportage style means that we can produce perfect memories of the day including the ever present camaraderie during the breaks!

Game and clay shooting photography

Our comprehensive game shooting shot list ensures that we include everyone on the shoot - guns, dogs, beaters, pickers and the all important estate gamekeeper. We can attend to follow a single or small group of guns, or alternatively cover the entire party. We offer a range of packages for game shooting which includes attendance for a half day or full day with options for prints only, produced on our professional, calibrated printers and presented in a luxury card mount, digital downloads and coffee table albums. For albums we work with a high quality printer (SIM Imaging) who produce albums with a range of sizes and options including “lay flat” pages to allow a photo to spread across both pages with minimal interruption from the crease and a different paper options.

For clay shooting we photograph the setup and competitors with the same print and album options.

For half or full day attendance we provide digital downloads at no additional charge. Gift vouchers are available and make a fantastic gift for a keen game shooter.

Game shooting videography

We can provide coverage of a half day or full day shoot and produce a highlight film with a runtime of approximately 15 minutes, covering all aspects of the day, from initially meeting and drawing pegs, walking out to the first drive, the shoot itself and of course the camaraderie during breaks and interation. Depending on the number of drives and the booked time we’ll also capture footage of the gamekeeper if present, beaters and of course the gun dogs working. We shoot video on professional cinema cameras in high definition with a creative approach using broadcast quality audio and can integrate voiceovers, music and titles as required.

For all video production we like to meet with our client to discuss the required style and any specifics, e.g. whether there are specific guns to concentrate on or a requirement to capture everyone equally. We turn video projects around quickly, with a draft edit sent out quickly and a full edit produced following feedback.
