A Decent Exposure Photography & Media are often asked about wedding photography and we're pleased to have this as one of our services, although please note that we have very limited availability for 2020.

Apart from the obvious photography skills, weddings demand a high degree of reliability, attention to detail, professionalism, adaptability, creativity and of course a really great rapport with the Bride and Groom! We can confidently say that we have all of these and we’re very comfortable working with you on your big day and in the run up to it.

What do we provide?

We can offer a range of wedding services to suit all budgets with the same quality photography including attendance at the ceremony only, ceremony and speeches or all day to include dressing, guest arrival, ceremony, wedding breakfast and speeches though to the first dance. Our style is a blend of formal portraits, candid shots and reportage and a second photographer can be provided if required at additional cost. We recommend this if the aim is to provide a portfolio which has a strong emphasis on candid photography. We always meet in person with the bride and groom to understand the key areas to include on the day, attend rehearsals at no additional cost and also include a pre wedding natural outdoor portrait session with additional flash lighting to enable you to work through a range of poses. We generate a full shot list which covers the photos that we’ll be capturing on the day, which we share with the bride and groom to enable any additional shots to be added.

The initial edits from the wedding are presented to the Bride and Groom within a few days and we then work together on content for a wedding album (if required) using a secure selection gallery on our web site. Depending on the chosen package we offer a wide range of options for photos including prints, canvases and digital copies and the majority of our printing is completed in house, allowing us to carefully control the final quality and deliver the best possible result. All wedding photography include as standard your selection of ten 9x6 mounted prints as well as our selection of high resolution digital images. We usually shoot around 300-500 photos during a wedding, often more, giving a fantastic range of images to look back on.

For wedding albums we use a high quality company for album print production (SIM Imaging). They offer a very wide range of options including classic albums, “lay flat” pages which allow wide photos to spread across the entire album width without an obvious fold and a range of papers and covers. We’re more than happy to take on the album design and we’re equally happy for you to use your images to build your own album.
